About the Company Seeking a Payroll Specialist:
Work for one of New England's leading healthcare organizations, and make an impact! They have been in operation for almost 30 years Recently received recognition for their support of immigrant communities in Massachusetts Working on a team of 5, the Payroll Specialist will collaborate and also be able to suggest process improvement Currently a hybrid work schedule is available Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
Processing payroll for 1,000 employees including:
Checking and auditing time sheets Processing any amended timecards Managing file upkeep in accordance with local, state, and federal payroll compliance Create weekly tax deposits Answering employee questions regarding paychecks Collaborating with the Team Lead, processing paid time off accrual based on union contracts Background Expected of the Payroll Specialist:
3
years' experience in payroll processing Union payroll processing is a plus but not a requirement Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree is a plus, but will not be accepted in lieu of experience for the Payroll Specialist #CBAUG2023 #INAUG2023 Recommended Skills Auditing Business Process Improvement Payroll Management Accrual Accounting Contract Management Regulatory Compliance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
