PCA's would be helping to care for a woman who is physically disabled (wheelchair bound) as well as her young son (2yrs).
We are hiring multiple PCA's for this reason.
For the mother:
Looking for an experienced female PCA to hire immediately.
Consumer is a female in her 30's who has cerebral palsy as well as other health conditions.
Consumer is in a wheelchair and needs full assistance with ADL's (cleaning, showering, dressing, toileting), meal preparation, light cleaning, and assisting with other tasks as needed.
For the child:
They would pick him up from daycare during the week, bring him home and assist with his care in the evening Looking for someone who is reliable and consistent.
Should have experience with young children and willing to work with his mom (she will be home during shifts) to care for him.
PCA should be patient and willing to take direction as they get familiar with the consumer.
She should be willing to assist with tasks as they arise.
Reliability and consistency are very important.
Consumer speaks English fluently, but a bonus if PCA speaks Portuguese (consumer and family are from Brazil).
Days/hours needed are:
Thurs, Fri, Sun, Mon 2pm-12am and Sat 8am-12am (16hrs) Hours/Days may vary as needed.
Hiring multiple candidates to fill shifts.
Willing to hire multiple aides to cover complete schedule.
